I've lived in Cleveland since I was in the 4th grade, having moved from Sandersville, Georgia with my family. I graduated from White County High School in 2011. I'm now a student and student worker at the University of North Georgia (Gainesville) studying film production after taking some time to work and figure out what I wanted to go to school for.
I've been interested in the political process since I was young. I was initially a Republican, but after getting out into the world and meeting and befriending people from all walks of life, I realized that the GOP agenda did much more harm than good for the majority of people, so I made the switch to the Democratic Party.
I founded the College Democrats on the Gainesville campus of the University of North Georgia and was elected Chair of the White County Democratic Committee in 2018 at 26 years old, making me the youngest Democratic County Chair currently serving in Georgia. My term will end in January of 2021.
I decided to jump into the race for State House District 10 because this district deserves a choice. For too long, Republicans have had no opposition to answer to in this area - nobody to question their policies and decisions or to compromise with. With your help, we can change that.
